Diving is a great sport, but it can be expensive to get started. As someone who has done diving before, I know the feeling of having to choose between your hobbies and your bank account. Luckily for you, there are countries that offer cheap diving lessons! A lot of people think that scuba diving is only possible in warm water locations like Hawaii or Florida, but this isn’t true at all. In fact, many places offer courses for less than $100! Scuba Diving magazine compiled a list of 10 countries that offer cheap scuba lessons below:

The lowest price I found was $95 in Thailand, but you can find countries as cheap as $79! Check out the list below for more information on prices by country:
– Australia offers courses for around USD$150 – Malaysia has a course priced at US$130 which includes all equipment rental fees – Philippines has introductory courses that cost between US$110-$190 with no hidden costs or surprises like travel insurance (but they recommend it) – France starts at €285 ($300), Spain starts at €295, Italy’s dives start from 295 euros, and in Egypt scuba lesson are available starting at just under 100 euros per person.
